The Ocean Within: the Ocean as Our Consciousness
Drawing from contemporary Physics and ancient Philosophy that matter is a derivative of consciousness, and developing on the idea of an indivisible and eternal Soul, we must make an effort to reconsider the very nature of our existence — no longer as physical beings capable of thought, but spiritual creatures who have developed the extraordinary ability to communicate through a language of material objects: our physical Universe.
Just like descending into the depths of the Ocean allows us to perceive everything around us as perfectly still and calm, meditation is the instrument that allows us to descend into Samadhi — a higher state of consciousness attained by the yoke of our three conscious states: sleep, dreaming and the waking state. In this united state, or fourth state, we are given to participate in the source of the physical universe and gain full command of ourselves, as well as define how we manifest ourselves into the world.
