Presenting:

Zuzana – Czech Psychedelic Renaissance

20h00 to 20h20

Zuzana is an addiction specialist and doctoral student at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague. Her interest in psychedelic therapy developed during years of travel across Europe, Oceania, Asia, and Central America. Since 2016, she has been a member of the Czech Psychedelic Society and, since 2019, has coordinated clinical trials with psilocybin and ketamine at the National Institute of Mental Health, where she works as a research assistant.

She advises the director of Společnost Podané ruce (SPR), one of the Czech Republic’s largest non-profit addiction services, and co-founded Nové Elysium, a therapeutic center focused on Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).

Zuzana lectures annually at Charles University’s Third Faculty of Medicine and Masaryk University in Brno, and collaborates with Beyond Psychedelics on educational activities.

She contributed to the large-scale National Psychedelic Research study and helped develop the iTrip app—a harm reduction tool created in collaboration with PsyRes, the Czech Psychedelic Society, and NUDZ.

Currently, she is involved in a three-year grant project aimed at destigmatizing psychedelic therapy, assessing the cost-effectiveness of PAP, improving patient access, and integrating it into existing addiction care.

Her training includes KAP (Polaris), psychedelic sitting (CZEPS), ayahuasca safety (ICEERS), oncology-focused clinical support (PSIKET_002), and peer group facilitation for palliative care studies (Psypal).
